It’s a day Mitchell reminds her children of the value of military service.
“My husband is a 22-year-old Air Force veteran,” said Mitchell.

“It’s nice to see people support the military, these people give up a lot of their lives for us,” said Manny Castillo, a visitor.

But America is free thanks to those who have served.
“My grandfather is an army veteran, he’s gone,” she said.
