Man reportedly tried to sexually assault a girl in Miami Seaside
MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – A 31-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on charges of trying to sexually abuse a woman in Miami Beach the day before.
According to his arrest report, Kyandre Lotorin Johnson of Miami Beach met the victim shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Monday on the 23rd Street boardwalk and began talking to her.
Police said less than 10 minutes later Johnson grabbed the victim, “lifted her off the floor while covering her mouth and carried her onto a sidewalk that leads to the beach”.
According to the arrest report, the victim yelled for help and Johnson threw her to the ground and began to choke her.
Miami Beach police said the victim continued to yell for help as Johnson lowered his shorts and tried to sexually abuse the victim.
The victim told police that Johnson then fled the area and headed for the beach.
Authorities said the entire incident was captured with city-owned surveillance cameras.

According to the arrest report, Johnson is known to several Miami Beach police officers and investigators.
Authorities said he was located the next day, identified himself in a photo taken before the incident, and confessed to trying to sexually assault the victim.
He was arrested for attempted sexual harassment and wrongful imprisonment.
Miami-Dade District Court judge Mindy Glazer ordered Johnson to be held on a $ 100,000 bond. If he posts it, he will be placed under house arrest.
