Miami Marlins outfielder Corey Dickerson lists Miami Seaside Loft for $ 2.7M

Play ball: Miami Marlins outfielder Corey Dickerson listed his home base in Miami Beach for $ 2.7 million.

The ball player has taken up the swanky new digs from the developer, notes the co-listing agent. Michael Light.

The luxurious loft is located in the waterfront Ritz-Carlton Residences and offers three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms on two levels. The highlights of the 300 square meter residence include a designer kitchen and bathroom as well as a spacious terrace with summer kitchen.

The immaculate interior opens to a 25-foot ceiling in the great room, floor-to-ceiling windows with remote-controlled blinds, and gray porcelain flooring flowing through the room.

The elegant eat-in kitchen with Boffi cupboards, a cooking island and Gaggenau appliances opens up to the dining area and living room. The pantry is cleverly housed in shelves hidden on the wall.

One master suite has a spalike master bathroom with a glass-enclosed wet room and whirlpool tub, two vanities, and a walk-in closet that the owner added. The layout also includes a den and laundry room.

Dickerson never lived in this place full time – he stays in his hometown of Mississippi during the off-season – and the pristine space looks very underutilized.

The eight-story building was completed in 2019 by the Italian architect Piero Lissoni and is a mixture of condominiums and family villas (without hotel components).

Residents enjoy luxurious amenities such as a 1 acre rooftop pool terrace, restaurant, attached parking garage, boat dock, billiards room, virtual golf, theater, spa, gym, children’s room, 24/7 lobbies, valet parking, and more Concierge. Pets are also allowed.

“All the comforts really talked to them,” says Light of Dickerson and his wife. Beth Annewho have two young children.

“We saw several buildings by the sea, but they made their decision because of them [Ritz-Carlton] Brand and the Neighborhood, ”he says, noting that the building is in a mostly residential area that is rare for condominiums.

With the high ceilings and two floors, “it really feels more like a family home than a condo,” adds Light.

The Marlins star might go, but you can still find other big names at the exclusive address. In 2019, Hall of Famer Mike Piazza bought a unit in the building for $ 5.6 million.

Cindy Crawford, the supermodel and her husband, businessman Verge Gerber, also added a condominium to their extensive real estate portfolio. The CEO and Chairman of American Eagle Outfitters, J.Ay Schottenstein also supposedly owns a unit.

The 31-year-old Dickerson made his major league debut with the Colorado Rockies in 2013. The All-Star has also played for that Tampa Bay Rays and Philadelphia Philliesand then with that Pittsburgh Piratesand won a Gold Glove Award in 2018.

The player, who now occupies the Marlins’ outfield, signed a two-year contract for $ 17.5 million with the team and will become a free agent in 2022.

Michael Light of Douglas Elliman’s Sports and Entertainment Division and Jaimee Light from Miami Luxury Homes have the listing.
