The city of Miami Beach unveils four weekend festival plans
The City of Miami Beach is proud to announce Miami Beach Live! to present, a month-long celebration in March 2022 that features a variety of exciting activations and live events that appeal to all five senses. Every Friday through Sunday from March 1 to March 29, 2022 Miami Beach Live! will offer an exciting and diverse range of programs in Lummus Park and in the beach areas from 10 to 13 streets.
Locals and visitors alike can enjoy themed weekend programs – including dance, pop, international and symphony / Broadway – with a range of music, art, culture and culinary options. Every weekend of the month offers a Friday evening film, a Saturday evening headlining concert and a Sunday dine around with the first-class culinary offers and menus at a fixed price from Miami Beach.
“We’re excited to add Miami Beach Live! to the rich mosaic of arts and culture programs in our city, ”says Dan Gelber, Mayor of Miami Beach. “This is going to be something that residents and visitors alike can enjoy and really something for everyone.”
Tickets for Miami Beach Live! Concerts will be available through the Universe platform on MiamiBeachLive.com, with priority being given to residents of the city of Miami Beach starting Thursday, December 16. The residents use their postcode as an “access key” when purchasing, in order to receive a maximum of four tickets per household. Tickets go on sale to the general public on December 20th and range from free general admission to $ 125 non-resident VIP passes.
Erasure will hit the headlines on Saturday March 5th; Alanis Morissette on Saturday March 12; Juanes on Saturday March 19th and Bernadette Peters with Brian Stokes Mitchell to close on Saturday March 26th.
Additional month-long activations include a Carillon Wellness Village, Family Zone, sports and health and wellness programs, an art wall, dog park, photo ops, VIP lounge, and more. Miami Beach Live! is a collaborative effort by various target organizations, including the City of Miami Beach, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Miami Beach Visitor & Convention Authority.
