Police are investigating the shooting by officials in North Miami Beach

June 10 – An area in northeast Miami-Dade was closed on Thursday afternoon after an officer shooting.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. in the area of Northeast 172nd Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
Further details were not known and it was not immediately clear if anyone was injured.

Aventura Police had diverted all traffic south from Northeast 186th Street and Biscayne Boulevard. As of 4:50 p.m., North Miami police announced that Biscayne Boulevard was reopening south from Miami Gardens Drive.
