An investigation is underway in North Miami Beach after a man was fatally shot early Wednesday morning, police said.
According to North Miami Beach Police, officers received reports of a shooting in the area of Northeast 20th Avenue and 168th Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
His identity has not been released.
Video footage at the scene captured police placing yellow evidence markers on the ground, and a vehicle appeared to have been shot.
No arrests have been made as the investigation remains active.
