2 arrested after investigators uncovered marijuana trafficking in Miami Seaside
MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – Two people were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and other criminal charges after police were informed of the alleged trafficking in a Miami Beach store.
Miami Beach Police Department said detectives from the Miami Beach Police Department’s Strategic Investigation Department issued search warrants on Wednesday at two Miami Beach companies, Kush Gods.
After receiving multiple complaints, investigators conducted numerous covert operations involving detectives buying marijuana from employees of the Kush Gods at 628 6th Street.
When that happened, Miami Beach police said that detectives learned that the same store has also opened a location in North Beach at 7437 Collins Avenue.
Detectives were also conducting undercover operations at this location in Kush Gods and were also able to purchase marijuana, according to police.
Ultimately, with the help of their Strategic Enforcement Team and Robbery Detectives, search warrants were served at both locations, resulting in the confiscation of nearly three pounds of marijuana.

Suspects Nicholas Cunningham and Simon Christopher Mills were both arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana possession and other criminal charges, the arrest report said.
The Miami Beach Code Enforcement has also responded and issued an emergency revocation of their business tax receipts.
Both sites received multiple code violations.
