The West Miami-Dade woman police say struck two pedestrians in a pair of rush-hour hit-and-run crashes in Miami Beach on Thursday left a scene when she shouldn’t have in October, police say.
Online court records say Hanee Ramirez, 31, will be in bond court on Sunday after her arrest on charges of leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury and reckless driving causing serious injury.
Collins Avenue traffic snarled even more than usual as police investigated hit-and-run crashes at 44th and 57th streets, shutting down the northbound lanes in both locations.

A check of Ramirez’s recent driving record shows a pair of tickets after an Oct. 10 crash, one for improper passing on the right side and one for leaving the scene of a crash with damage of more than $50 without giving information. Ramirez was fined $411.25 on the latter ticket and ordered to sit through 12 hours of traffic school.
On Thursday morning, hours before the two hit-and-runs of which she’s currently accused, Ramirez had a hearing on a different ticket, a Nov. 7 citation that says her window tint was too dark.
Ramirez’s late Friday night arrest was first reported by WSVN-Channel 7’s Sheldon Fox. Fox reports Lena Chiang, 61, is in stable condition, and the unidentified man who was struck at 57th Street is in critical condition.
