Suspect arrested after allegedly throwing bricks by way of Miami Seashore window right into a room with 2 sleeping youngsters

MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – Police arrested a man in connection with a dangerous brick-throw in Miami Beach.

Local 10 News’ Rosh Lowe first covered the incident where a suspect was seen with a surveillance camera throwing a brick through a window in the Drake Condominium on 1460 Ocean Drive.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday

The brick went through the bedroom window of two young children, a 4-year-old and a toddler, with glass ending up in close proximity to both of them, police said.

What happened in the nursery after the brick was thrown was recorded on a baby monitor.

Detectives created a Locate & Notify flyer and distributed it across departments, which resulted in another officer identifying the suspect as William Watson based on previous interactions with him, police said.

Watson, 30, was taken into custody without incident on Saturday after a police officer spotted him on patrol from a wanted leaflet.
