Purchaser of former basketball star Chris Bosh’s Miami Seaside Mansion for $ 42 million
A completely renovated 11,709-square-foot mansion in Miami Beach went on sale Tuesday for $ 42 million.
The house on the water has just been redesigned by the local architecture firm AquaBlue Group, according to the listing with Albert Justo and Mirce Curkoski from the Waterfront Team at ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. It has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and two guest toilets, as well as a large, glass-walled room with double-height ceilings.
“The most fascinating room is the great room, which is such a large open space, made entirely of glass, with a view of the garden on one side and a view of the bay on the other,” said Mr Justo, adding that it was also gives “beautiful views of the sunset”. “
If the home sells near its asking price, it would be the most expensive sale on North Bay Road, according to the Multiple Listing Service. The most expensive store currently on the prestigious Biscayne Bay street was a $ 39.25 million transaction in February.
A limited company affiliated with the AquaBlue Group currently owns the property.
The company bought it in January from its previous owner, former Miami Heat player Chris Bosh, who raised $ 14.4 million for the mansion, according to real estate records. The house had been listed since 2018 when it hit the market for $ 18 million, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The house also features Italian mill work, as well as bespoke furniture – most of which is included in the price – designed for the space by AquaBlue Group, Mr Justo added.
Other amenities include a courtyard between the entrance and the great room, two kitchens, two laundry rooms, a guest wing with views of the garden and bay, and a “massive” primary bedroom suite with an outdoor area, dressing rooms and a bathroom with a bathtub, stand-up shower and two vanities, as per the listing. There is also an elevator.
Outside there is an outdoor kitchen and dining area, a green wall, landscaped gardens and a pool.
