North Miami Seaside officers problem Publix present playing cards for residents impacted by COVID-19 – WSVN 7News | Miami Information, Climate, Sports activities

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) – North Miami Beach residents who have been hit financially due to the pandemic can soon receive some help.

On Thursday, officials with North Miami Beach began handing out $150 Publix gift cards for residents who can prove they have experienced hardship due to COVID-19.

The gift cards will be given to residents on a first-come, first-served basis until Saturday.

All distributions begin at 8 am and will occur on the following dates while supplies last.

Friday:
Allen Park/ DeLeonardis Youth Center
1770 NE 162 St., NMB, FL 33162

Sunday:
Uleta Park Community Center
386 NE 169 St., NMB, FL 33162

No walk up service. If you have any questions, call 305-957-3605 Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm

To receive a gift card, you must have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 and show proof of residency by providing a state-issued ID (containing an NMB address). You will be considered ineligible if you provide an address outside of North Miami Beach (per Miami-Dade County mapping records or an invalid form of ID).
