Nobu Resort Miami Seaside evaluate
Nobu Hotels is a global phenomenon – an inimitable blend of “modern cool luxury and minimalist Japanese tradition with the concept of a lifestyle hotel” with unique Nobu-style dining experiences inspired by world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
Nobu Hotel Miami Beach takes this award-winning approach to gastronomy and hospitality and creates its own interpretation on Miami’s white sandy beaches, promising a contemporary Japanese beach house aesthetic with signature Nobu service and cuisine.
A touch of Nobu Hotel Miami Beach
I started my last escapade in the US in Florida Nobu Hotel Miami Beach, writes Andrew Forbes (The luxury editor). Upon arrival, I went through customs and immigration and made my way to hail a taxi. Greeted by the warm air and the sight of swaying palm trees, I knew I had arrived in Florida. But Miami has its own special vibe, a global meeting place for the Americas, with a colorful Caribbean flair. My taxi driver didn’t need an address when I said I’m going to Nobu Hotel. The Nobu Hotel Miami Beach is on the same property as the Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach, which is an iconic property.
Nobu Hotel Miami Beach
The Nobu Hotel Miami Beach combines the classic 1950’s Miami chic of the Eden Roc Miami Beach with the contemporary innovation of Nobu. That’s the magic of every Nobu hotel – each offering the style and sophistication of this global brand, but with each destination’s authentic personality.
Checking in at the Nobu Hotel front desk means a margarita and a warm welcome. Here comes a welcome with a generous dose of lively Miami hospitality. Then I walked through the emblematic lobby with its legendary art deco lobby bar to the elevators and up to my Nobu suite.

Rooms & Suites
The rooms and suites have the characteristic Nobu style with natural woods, reduced minimalism and a focus on quality. The bathroom was beautifully appointed with lots of thoughtful touches and great amenities. That’s why we love Nobu right?
Nobu Hotel Miami Beach guest rooms
I arrived late so took advantage of in-room dining. You can enjoy all the flavors and ingenuity of Nobu cuisine until late at night. The iconic black cod was an obvious choice—it never fails to impress.

Sunrises are the best in Miami – open the balcony door in the morning and you’ll be embraced by the warmth of the sunny state. The view of the white sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean is stunning. No wonder room service breakfasts are so popular.

Resort facilities
The resort makes for an alluring getaway. There are free weekend yoga classes, a choice of pools (with weekend DJs), a nurturing Esencia Spa, and a private beach with the friendliest team.
After breakfast, I headed to the shores of the Atlantic – this is one of the best times of year to enjoy Miami’s Caribbean climate and the team at Nobu Hotel Miami Beach knows how to showcase its stunning, picture-perfect setting.

With a sun lounger, umbrella, cocktail and sea views, the day felt pretty settled. The Pool & Beach Bar offers sun lounger service, so just sit back and let the warmth of Miami embrace you.

The beach walk
But despite the desire to lie in the sun, I’m naturally curious and love to explore. I can’t stay still for too long. There is an 8 mile beach walk connecting South Beach, Mid Beach and North Beach. It’s a cool place where you can let your curiosity guide you on a mini-adventure. Just grab one of Nobu Hotel Miami Beach’s “cruiser” bikes and go exploring and people-watching. Miami Beach is a place full of colour, energy and friendly people. If you know a little Spanish, you’ll be happy to speak a lot here in Miami, as the city is fairly bilingual, with Spanish speakers not only from neighboring Cuba but also from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Central and South America. It provides a vibrant, warm and cosmopolitan travel experience that is unique in the United States
Miami Beach really has a lot to offer. Even without crossing the bridges downtown, there are art galleries, concert halls and all of Miami Beach’s heritage to explore.
Lunch at Ocean Social is a treat – combining a relaxed beach vibe with a selection of wood-fired bites, colorful salads and handcrafted cocktails.

Tanoshi Hour & Nobu Restaurant
An afternoon at the spa or by the pool is a vacation-like way to work up an appetite. At Nobu Hotel Miami Beach, there’s a fun and social way to start the night, the Nobu Tanoshi Hour. Take a seat on the stylish Nobu Terrace and sample Nobu Signature Cocktails and indulge in lavish bento boxes featuring exquisite highlights from the Nobu menu.
Tanoshi Hour at the Nobu Hotel Miami Beach
When you stay here, you can easily turn aperitif hour into a late dinner at Nobu Restaurant. This cool space combines Nobu’s signature architectural elements with unique gold cherry blossom decor, washi paper art and traditional lanterns. This is the place in Miami for Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s acclaimed cuisine, which blends traditional Japanese dishes with Latin American influences.

So, this is how you spend a getaway at a Japanese-inspired beach house retreat. Nobu Hotel Miami Beach offers the Nobu Irasshaimase welcome we all love, but with captivating, sun-drenched Miami style.
I’ll see you at the bar.
