New COVID-19 Immunization Choices for North Miami Seashore Residents: South Florida Caribbean Information
[NORTH MIAMI BEACH] – As part of their continued efforts to prioritize community health and safety amid COVID-19, the City of North Miami Beach and Mayor Anthony F. DeFillipo are announcing two new options for local residents to get vaccinated and a return site for second cans.
Walk-up vaccinations
On Wednesday April 7th, NMB is hosting a one-day walk-up site for free vaccinations at the NMB library.
Florida residents are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines under state and federal guidelines. No appointments are required on site. They give vaccines from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or while supplies last. The library is located at 1601 NE 164 Street, North Miami Beach, FL 33162. The city will also distribute groceries to attendees. For more information, call 305-948-2970.
Homebound vaccination program
For residents who may be immunocompromised or tied to their homeland, the city offers a one-day COVID-19 vaccination program against their homeland. This will take place on Wednesday April 7th in collaboration with the Pulse Clinical Alliance. Individuals must be at least 18 years old and meet the eligibility requirements to qualify. Second dose vaccines
The NMB Allen Park Community Center vaccination center is now open until April 7th. Residents eligible to receive their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine can do so at this point. The FEMA sponsored website is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is located at 1770 NE 162 Street in North Miami Beach, FL 33162.
Individuals must bring their CDC vaccination card with a return on date and valid government ID
