Miami Seaside Police Officer OK after falling into tree on Turnpike in Miami Gardens – WSVN 7News | Miami Information, Climate, Sports activities

MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) – A Miami Beach police officer jumped off the Florida Turnpike in Miami Gardens and hit a tree.

The cellphone video posted by Only in Dade showed several first responders in front of the officer’s cruiser near the Golden Glades Interchange on Sunday afternoon.

Paramedics and several officers rushed over to provide assistance.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the officer was not injured.
