Miami Seashore’s spring break plans are geared in direction of the aged

Miami Beach officials have pledged to spend at least $ 1.4 million on programming over the spring break next March, with an emphasis on events that appeal to an older audience.

In January of that year, Miami Today reported, the city chose not to run a $ 1.5 million spring break pilot that included four nights a week activities in March programmed by Tom Bercu Presents. As predicted by officials, the spring break crowd (along with thousands of other adult visitors) was still coming, and over 1,000 arrests were made, according to a memo from the commission.
