Jon Bon Jovi Assessments Optimistic for COVID-19, Miami Seashore Live performance Canceled – CBS Miami
MIAMI (CBSMiami / AP) – Jon Bon Jovi has canceled his Miami Beach concert after testing positive for COVID-19 on a rapid test shortly before his performance.
An announcer took the stage to break the bad news to the crowd just before the concert was due to begin on Saturday night in Loews South Beach.

Bon Jovi, 59, and his bandmates did quick tests shortly before the concert and Bon Jovi tested positive. He is fully vaccinated. Ticket holders had to show vaccination cards or negative test results in order to enter the concert, which was the culmination of a three-day hotel package that cost up to thousands of dollars per person.
“Jon feels great,” the announcer told the crowd, adding that the “Livin ‘On a Prayer” singer was going to bed.

He should also attend a question-and-answer session and photo op on Saturday night.
It was not yet known whether the concert would be rescheduled.
