Introducing Esmé Miami Seashore, a brand new boutique lodge on the town’s well-known Española Manner

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., September 14, 2020 / PRNewswire / – Infinity Hospitality today announced the opening of Esmé for Spring 2021 Miami Beach, a unique boutique hotel along Miami Beaches historic pedestrian street, Española Way. The Spanish-Mediterranean revival property was originally built as an artists’ village from the 1920s and consists of eight buildings with 145 hotel rooms and five original concepts for food and drinks. Located next to a collection of the street’s traditional restaurants and cafes, Esmé brings a new style of chic escape to the magical city by raising the standard rather than following it.

Jessica Schuster Design used the property as a canvas and created a quirky and inspiring backdrop for the Esmé lifestyle. Using an artful combination of emerald green (a nod to the property’s namesake), purple, chartreuse, rich mahogany tones, and gold accents, Schuster borrows from yesterday, today, and tomorrow to take guests on a journey through their modern take on the classic to take chic designs with you. No room is like the other, but each area feels like a redefined era. Every detail of hotel design is a juxtaposition of quirky and calculated, creating an ambience that pays homage to Española Way’s original mission: to provide an environment where artists can thrive.

The roof is Esmé’s aptly named roof area with four interconnected roof terraces activated with a bar and restaurant where guests can dine and choose Miami’s largest selection of artisanal sangrias, motivated by the Spanish-inspired history of the property. With a pool, sunbathers can do bronze in a variety of lounge areas or kick back in one of the shaded areas insulated by airy, scalloped, retractable roofs.

Each of Esmé’s eight buildings along Española Way is connected by intimate paseos, the original arteries of a “Spanish village”, the official name for the entire historic district of Española Way in 1925. The labyrinthine alleys and courtyards resemble the pueblos of Spain and Latin America. Here guests will find two of the property’s soon-to-be-announced typical eateries, each offering tempting menus in intimate indoor and outdoor areas. Both concepts are designed to offer their own unique journey within the redesigned “Esmé Village” and are accessible via the property’s paseos.

Adjacent to the village, which is on the literal and metaphorical “other side” of the street on Drexel Avenue, is Casa Matanza. The building’s 42 rooms are rich in culture and (supposedly) dirty history, and offer a darker, more vibrant color palette. There will also be a restaurant and bar concept at Casa Matanza, which some of them are considering Miami’s most of the leading companies in the lighting industry.
