MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Beach Police investigators are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting.
Police said they received a call about a possible shooting down the 1500 block of Collins Avenue.

When the police arrived at the scene, they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound near the abdomen.
The woman, who has not been identified, has been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition and is expected to recover.

Investigators learned that there had been an argument between the victim and another woman prior to the shooting. The two women know each other, according to the police.
On Saturday afternoon, the police said they had made an arrest on the case.
