Chris Bosh’s long-standing Miami Seaside mansion is getting a brand new look and worth: $ 42 million

In the waters of Biscayne Bay in Miami Beach, a development group wants to take advantage of Chris Bosh’s modern mansion. After the NBA star’s home was bought for $ 14.43 million earlier this year, home builder AquaBlue Group plans to trade it in for $ 42 million.

Bosh, two-time NBA champion at the Miami Heat, paid $ 12.33 million for the waterfront property in 2010 and sold it to AquaBlue in January for a modest profit of $ 2.1 million. The developers got to work quickly, keeping the original structure but redesigning the interiors with inspiration from Italy.

Italian mills run throughout the house, and the 11,709-square-foot property is also outfitted with custom-made Italian furniture. The box-shaped, glass-roofed residence includes seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and two kitchens scattered across dramatic open spaces.

A commercial-grade elevator navigates the two-story floor plan and leads to a lavish master suite with custom-made closets and a private balcony. It overlooks a palm-strewn back yard with a swimming pool, spa, cabana, and private dock. A lawn yard completes the half-acre site.

An 11-time All-Star, Bosh spent seven years with the Toronto Raptors before teaming up with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Miami, where the trio won consecutive NBA titles with the Heat in 2012 and 2013. he was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

He also owns a Mediterranean mansion in Pacific Palisades that he once rented to actor Donald Glover.

Mirce Curkoski and Albert Justo from One Sotheby’s International Realty hold the listing.
