Ocasio-Cortez slams “sexual frustrations” from Republicans criticizing Miami Seashore photograph

With Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis missing from the field, some conservative-leaning media outlets have turned their ire on a popular target: Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The New York congresswoman was photographed having a cocktail with a man she later identified as her boyfriend in Miami Beach on Thursday.

Because Ocasio-Cortez didn’t wear a mask while drinking, the National Review unfavorably compared her trip to Republican Senator Ted Cruz’s infamous trip from Texas to Cancun, Mexico.

Cruz’s trip came as a winter storm devastated Texas, leaving most of its constituents without electricity or water.

Not only is the attack on Ocasio-Cortez seen as an ongoing assault on the woke congresswoman, but it could also serve as a smokescreen to take some of the heat off DeSantis, who has been fielded as the likely 2024 GOP presidential nominee.

DeSantis has kept a low profile as COVID-19 cases in Florida have soared to record highs.

“Counties are overwhelmed with lines that stretch for miles,” Florida State Senator Shevrin Jones tweeted. “It is every man and woman for himself because the leadership in action is missing.”

DeSantis, who has opposed vaccine and mask mandates, has not spoken publicly since Dec. 17.

As the state of American politics and democracy continues to descend, lawmakers like Ocasio-Cortez are finding it difficult to stay above the fray.

Self-proclaimed “bad hombre” and American nationalist Steve Cortes joined National Review in attacking the New York congresswoman.

On Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez is a rock star.

But Republicans are also using this platform to openly attack them.

However, Cortes failed badly.

“If leftists like AOC actually believed mandates and masking worked, they would be frolicking in free Florida,” Cortes tweeted.

Cortes then attempted to break into Ocasio-Cortez’s date in a more personal attack that the congresswoman exposed as simple jealousy.

“Your guy shows off his coarse, pale manly feet in public — not at the pool or on the beach — with hideous sandals,” Cortes wrote.

Ocasio-Cortez immediately called out Cortes and Republicans, revealing perhaps their most prominent issue with the attractive congresswoman.

“If Republicans are crazy, they can’t date me; they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustration onto my boyfriend’s feet. You creepy weirdos,” Ocasio-Cortez quipped.
