Miami Seaside Police Officer Introduced To JMH After Colliding With One other Officer Throughout Suspicious Chase – WSVN 7News | Miami Information, Climate, Sports activities

MIAMI (WSVN) — Police flooded Collins Avenue Thursday night during a chaotic night in Miami Beach that ended with one officer hospitalized.

The officer was responding to a robbery between 22nd and 24th Streets along Collins Avenue around 6:30 p.m

Detectives and other officers said they chased and caught up with the robber, grappled with him on the ground, and then an officer and the suspect were accidentally hit by another Miami Beach police cruiser.

The officer was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami with a large multi-agency police escort.

Subject was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach.

Both are expected to be fine.
