Miami Seaside, Key West On Tripadvisor’s 10th record for US journey locations – CBS Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami/CNN) – Congratulations to Miami Beach and Key West. They have recognized two of the top travel destinations in the United States with Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for 2022

Las Vegas came in first, followed by Hawaii’s Oahu and Maui.

Key West was listed as the fourth most popular city in the United States. Miami Beach finished eighth.

Other cities in the top 10 included New York City, New Orleans, Nashville, Savannah, and Sedona, Arizona.

St. Augustine was 12th on the list.

Of course, warm-weather getaways were a big draw.

Internationally, Dubai topped the list of most popular travel destinations, followed by London and Cancun, Mexico.

“As the world returns to travel, priorities are changing and people want more memorable experiences in their travels. Three-quarters (75%) of Americans say it’s important to “see new places” when considering their future travel plans,” said Steven Paganelli, Director, Destinations, Hotels and OTAs, Americas at Tripadvisor.

The trendiest cities in Florida in the US for 2022 include Fort Myers Beach (5th), Clearwater (6th) and Naples (9th).

The methodology considered the quality and volume of reviews over the period November 1, 2020 through October 31, 2021 “to select destinations that consistently offer the best overall traveler experience,” it said.
