Miami Beach is investigating alcohol rollback brew menu

Miami Beach is evaluating restrictions and exemptions to include in a citywide rollback of 2 a.m. alcohol sales, with the most likely option being a vote in early February to exempt most hotels and some restaurants and nightclubs that meet noise and performance standards .

The city commission discussed ending the sale and consumption of alcohol during a special session Jan. 12 after 56.52% of voters in a straw vote Nov. 2 said they would move the current last call to 5 a.m 2 a.m. support, with “specific locations and related limitations and exceptions to be determined by ordinance by the City Commission.”
