The Miami Seaside commissions are discussing choices to postpone the final name to 2 a.m.
MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – It is not a question of whether, it is a question of how as Miami Beach commissioners move forward with the withdrawal of the latest call for alcohol.
Miami Beach residents voted for a measure back in November, urging city commissioners to issue an ordinance banning alcohol sales after 2 a.m. to curb violence on the streets.
City commissioners are considering several options, all of which include withdrawing alcohol sales from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m.
However, some of these options would provide exemptions for businesses with closed areas such as hotels.
Some members of the commission doubt that any of this will work.
“You know, it seems like a lot of the crowd that has given us these problems doesn’t even go to bars and nightclubs, they seem to prefer to congregate on the streets, in their cars and their hotel rooms, and alcohol not? always seem to be their poison of choice, “said Ricky Arriola, Miami Beach commissioner.

The Commission could vote on a regulation as early as next month that could enter into force by the spring break.
