Mann faces homicide expenses after killing a Miami Seashore colleague who refused to exit with him, police say
MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – Delfina Pan refused to go out with Agustin Lucas Mariani so he fatally stabbed her and then stabbed herself Monday night, according to Miami Beach police.
Pan, 29, worked with Mariani, 20, at the Kansas Bar & Grill restaurant on Lincoln Road in South Beach. Detectives said he was waiting for her outside her apartment on Harding Avenue and 73rd Streets.
Pan was speaking to a neighbor when Mariani used a restaurant knife to stab her before taking off his shirt and then stabbing himself in the chest according to the arrest form.
A witness video shows employees of the Miami Beach Fire Department transporting him from the scene in an ambulance. Mariani stayed at Jackson Memorial Hospital Thursday evening.
He is facing charges of second degree murder.
Pan’s assassination was national news in Argentina. She was from Buenos Aires.
