A liquor store on a busy section of Alton Road in Miami Beach has been the site of several attempted robberies in recent months.
Wilon Arevalo, who has worked at Gulf Liquor on the 1600 block of Alton Road for over 20 years, said a man came into the store a few days ago and tried to rob him.
The suspect was later seen leaving the store with a surveillance camera after knocking over a refrigerator and dropping his pants on the floor. He was later taken into custody by the police.
About a month ago, surveillance cameras caught another attempted robbery in the store. In this case, the shopkeeper tried to stop the suspect and hit him.
Several people participated in the incident and helped to throw the man out of the store.
