Some residents in South Florida were back in the polling booths for a handful of runoff elections Tuesday.
In Miami Beach, two seats in the city commission will be decided by runoff.
In Group 1, former Miami Beach Commissioner and former Congressional candidate Kristen Rosen Gonzalez meets Raquel Pacheco, an Army National Guard veteran and small business owner.
In Group 3, Alex Fernandez, a member of the Miami Beach Planning Committee, meets Stephen Cohen, who has a background in real estate investing.
In Hialeah two more runoff elections were held for the seats in the City Council of Group 6 and Group 7.
The mayor’s race of Sunny Isles Beach was also in a runoff between Dana Goldman and Larisa “Laura” Svechin.
