Miami Seashore will cease imposing the brand new final name at 2 a.m. in South Seashore – CBS Miami
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – According to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald, the city of Miami Beach will stop enforcing the new final call at 2 a.m. in South Beach.
That means anyone who had a license to sell by 5 a.m. can continue to do so.

Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said the city would appeal.
“We try to promote a mixed-use work and play area. This is what we’re trying to do. It’s hard, if not impossible, to do that when liquor sales are concentrated in this small area all night, ”said Gelber.

The mayor added that he respectfully believed the judge misunderstood the law and said the city had every right to issue this ordinance.
