After profitable the French Open, Novak Djokovic sells a rental in Miami Seashore
It was a great week for Novak Djokovic. Days after his 19th Grand Slam title at the 2021 French Open, the Serbian tennis star took care of some business in Miami Beach, selling his oceanfront condo for $ 6 million.
Djokovic, who is from the Assn. of tennis pros, paid $ 5.77 million for the property in 2019.
The house enjoys a picturesque location in Eighty Seven Park, an 18-story complex with 70 units designed by the Italian architect and Pritzker Prize winner Renzo Piano, whose other works include the New York Times Building, the Whitney Museum of American Art and several buildings belong to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

The space itself is elegant, with 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and glass walls covering approximately 2,400 square feet. The biggest highlight, however, is the surrounding terrace: a 1,715 square meter room that winds around the apartment and offers a view of the sea, the city and the surrounding parks.
Three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms complete the house, including a master suite with a curved glass wall and a stone-clad bathroom. For amenities there is a spa, library, private garden, bar, and swimming pool with cabanas.
The 34-year-old Djokovic has won 19 Grand Slam titles since 2008: nine Australian Open titles, five Wimbledon titles, three US Open titles and two French Open titles. He has held the top spot in the ATP rankings for 325 total weeks and is also the all-time leader in prize money with almost $ 150 million.
Carlo Dipasquale of Cervera Real Estate Inc. and Wendy Mendoza of Cayhill Dumott Realty LLC held the listing. Douglas Elliman’s Joyce Gato represented the buyer. Nobody could be reached for comment.
