2 staff hospitalized after scaffolding collapse in North Miami Seaside – NBC 6 South Florida
Two workers were rushed to the hospital after a scaffolding collapse at a construction site in North Miami Beach on Monday morning.
The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. at the construction site in the 16300 block of Biscayne Boulevard.
North Miami Beach Police said two workers were on the scaffolding when it collapsed several stories.
One worker was hospitalized in critical condition, was the other was in stable condition, police said.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed officers at the scene with what appeared to be the collapsed scaffolding closed off with yellow police tape.

Police later added that one man was electrocuted after apparently touching a high-voltage power line while directing the scaffolding. The other worker, who was on the 9th floor, fell to the ground and was critically injured.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
