$11.6 million in cocaine discovered on boat off Miami Seashore, U.S. Coast Guard says – NBC 6 South Florida

A boat loaded with $11.6 million worth of cocaine was seized in the waters off Miami Beach last month, U.S. Coast Guard officials said Tuesday.

The 1,535 pounds of cocaine were seized by a U.S. Coast Guard Station Miami Beach crew after the vessel was found about nine miles east of Government Cut on May 6, officials said.

A photo posted by the Coast Guard on X on Tuesday showed the large amount of cocaine piled on top of a table.
